Uno Recordings, founded by Los Angeles based DJ & Producer Andy Caldwell, burst onto the dance scene in 2004 with Trentemoller's remix of Yoshimoto's massive 'Du What U Du'. Picked up first by international tastemaker Sasha, 'Du What U Du' was licensed around the world to Italy, France, Holland, Spain & the UK and remixed over a dozen times from artists including Paul Woolford, Markus Schultz & Claudio Cocolutto.

The unexpected explosion on the first single put the label under intense pressure and the original partners disbanded leaving Andy in control. With a schedule that included an artist album for Om Records, two major mix compilations and a tour across 25 cities in the US & Canada; it's only now that Andy has found time to concentrate on Uno allowing the label to re-emerge with renewed vigor!

Bouncing back in 2008, Uno marks a return to form with a plethora of strong releases! Look out for new single 'Funk Nasty' from Groove Armada collaborator, Gram'ma Funk featuring a remix from man of the moment, Wolfgang Gartner plus releases from Andy including 'It's Guud' with vocals from Mr V, a reworking of Andy's classic track & Pete Tong favourite 'Warrior' and Bass Construction's 90's club hit 'Dancing Together'.

With a promise to release quality electronic dance music pairing edgy, experimental sounds with lyrically strong, soulful song writing; Uno is a name to watch!
